If it is real, it will never be over. ~ Unknown
When I first met Sara and Jeff at a Pete’s Coffee Shop in Walnut Creek, California for a wedding consultation, I knew I wanted to photograph their wedding in Livermore, a little wine town in Northern California. Sara is also a nurse like me, so I formed an attachment right away and felt like I really need to give her the images of her dreams. Jeff has the sweetest smile and I could just tell that he was madly in love with Sara. When they finally decided to hire me to document their wedding, we started chatting about where to do their engagement photos. I gave them a few suggestions and they decided on Baker Beach in San Francisco and surely it didn’t disappoint and we were lucky we only saw a few people naked, after all, there is an area that was clothing optional (insert laughing emoji).
I brought my digital camera to the shoot but knew that I wanted to shoot more film and that’s what I did and the best decision I have made that day.
Their wedding at Poppy Ridge Golf Course has been postponed at the moment but I know that when it happens, it will be filled with joy and laughter and love.
